Building colors into your wardrobe with scarves can give you more flexibility than working with multiples of colorful pants and tops. Building up your wardrobe with the basic staples such as fitted black or neutral trouser pants, tailored jackets, cargo shorts, leather handbags, neutral tunics, metallic or leather footwear is one way of having professional outfits while adding the touch of color in your accessories and jewelry. A camouflage beige palette will give you the allowance wearing a number of hues of color that will catch the eye which wouldn't be possible unless it was summer time. Flashes of violet, emerald green and orange and pink can be seen in classic Hermes scarves that can be worn classically around your neck, as a belt or on a hand bag. Nothing is more British than a genuine Burberry. Established in 1856, the company's founder Thomas Burberry focused on outdoors attire with with the intention of producing a product that was water-resistant yet maintaining a breathable fabric. In 1914 Burberry was commissioned by the War Office to design their officer's coats to suit the conditions of contemporary warfare, resulting in the name "trench coat". Its distinctive black tan, and red pattern known as haymarket check or the "Burberry classic check" was first used as a lining for the Burberry trench coat in 1924. Now a registered trademark, the classic check is widely used on umbrellas, scarves, and luggage. The tartan pattern has become one of its most widely copied trademarks. Burberry's trademark products are its fashionable handbags and exclusive fragrances. 
Ralph Lauren staged an outstanding lavish runway show in the spring of 2008 which was based on classic lady-like looks straight out of the vintage movies. His show featured ruffle-hemmed gowns, sexy fishnets and oversize picture hats. He also featured stunning colorful floral-print silk-georgette evening dresses that reminds me of the classic floral scarves of the 30's. Lauren commented on this collection saying - , "I drew upon everything I ever loved, and that was it." Ralph Lauren has been one of the top designers in the industry (and one of my favorites) because he turns out unique designs drawing on classical historical high-society looks. Ralph Lauren continually masters every outfit in his collection while other designers have only a handful of great designs in their seasonal collections. Ralph Lauren stays at the top of the fashion industry because of his eye for great design and attention to detail. 
Instead of buying several trendy cheap outfits, invest in one good quality suit or outfit that will work with a number of accessories. Update your accessories by adding a sharp patterned scarf, blouse, or shirt. You’ll save money in the long run because it will cost less per wear, as cheap suits usually wear out quicker. A number of patterned scarves, or unique belts can go a long way of looking up to date and fashionable. 
Fashion Designer Gianni Versace was born in 1946 in Reggio Calabria, and tragically he was murdered on the 16th July, 1997. He has been one of the fashion industries top designers. Today the label is managed by Gianni Versace's brother Santo Versace and Gianni's sister Donatella Versace whom is the head of design. In 1978, Versace opened his first boutique in Milan's Via della Spiga, and soon after his Versace label popularity started to spread across the globe. The Versace-style has become a trademark in it's own league. Versace is known for striking colours, materials, and cuts. His collections for men and women are always sexy with a sharp Italian design. 
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have become one of the leading designers in the fashion industry. Dolce studied fashion design in Sicily while Gabbana studied graphic design to create the perfect partnership when they combined their talents in 1982. In 1985, they showed their first women’s collection in Milan, were noted as being a promising new talent. One year later, they released their first collection, entitled - real woman. In the late 1980's when D&G expanded to New York, their label hit immediate popularity. In addition to their women’s clothing, D&G produce a large range of shoes, jeans, underwear and fragrances. Their signature designs include corset dresses, gangster pinstripes and sexy black suits, and are known for their sexy style. They describe their style as “sweet and sharp” and “New Millennium cool”. 
The world famed fashion designer Emilio Pucci studied and political science and was a bomber pilot in WWII before finding his place in fashion design. His first designs were for the Reed College skiing team. Designing sporting gear became second nature to him as he was a talented sportsman, who swam, skied, fenced, played tennis and raced cars. In the winter 1948, Pucci's designs were photographed for the famous magazine Bazaar, and caught attention of many American manufacturers which wanted to produce them. He went on to open up a a haute couture house and produced a swimwear line in 1949, and moved on to bright and bold patterned silk scarves. Pucci's labels success lead him to create silk dresses where many celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe,Sophia Loren and Jackie Kennedy wore. It didn't end there, Pucci designed complete outfits for Braniff and Nasa between 1965 and 1977, and had a political career in addition. 
Mila Schon was in her thirties when she made her entrance into the world of high fashion. This elegant lady had no sewing experience, but born from wealthy Italian aristocratic parents she knew very well what cutting edge style was and was not shopping and buying in Paris. With a small group of workers, she set up a workshop in Milan in 1958. It was in January 1965, an invitation from Giovan Giorgini, Mila Schön presented her first collection at Florence's Palazzo Pitti. Schon who rose to the top of fashion with use of double-faced fabric, geometric patterns, and monochromatic designs.
