He has been one of the fashion industries top designers. Today the label is managed by Gianni Versace's brother Santo Versace and Gianni's sister Donatella Versace whom is the head of design. In 1978, Versace opened his first boutique in Milan's Via della Spiga, and soon after his Versace label popularity started to spread across the globe. The Versace-style has become a trademark in it's own league. Versace is known for striking colours, materials, and cuts. His collections for men and women are always sexy with a sharp Italian design.
